Incorrect location shown on tracking site

Hi there,

I've just started using Watchee software and I think it has excellent functionality and may be just what I am looking for, however I notice that my location is not showing up correctly on the website. It's out by a couple of hundred kilometres. It appears something is going wrong with the Latitude value. The strange thing is that when I look at the detail tab on one of my trackpoints, the 'Latitude' value and the google maps link are different by about 1.5 degrees (see screen capture below). Any idea what could be causing this?

I'm using a Samsung i560 with built in GPS, which I have tested with other software so I know it is giving accurate GPS data.

Hi,

can you please measure again a spot with this error and post us:

1) The correct LAT LON as a reference
2) Again the screenshot of our values

Like this it is easier for us to find the error,

Hi Marcel,

Using the info from the screenshot in my post above, the correct LAT, LON is -33.829,151.1997

Hi Marcel,

Still getting the problem. Same as before, the Long value is correct but there is a problem with the Lat values being out by approx 1.5degrees.
See screen print below, the correct/actual Lat/Long is -33°41'34.51", +151°01'25" but the position displayed on the map is -32° 18' 25.66", +151°01' 25"

So the data displayed in the HTML is correct (besides the wrong 'N'=North), but wrong displayed on the map?
How did you measure the -32° 18' 25.66?
I still don't know where the error is ...

No. It takes me to the same (ie wrong) position in google maps.

If by "HTML" you mean the third line "Latitude:" , then yes, that is the correct value displayed there.

How did you measure the -32° 18' 25.66?

I worked that out from the google maps link and a calculator . There might be a bit of rounding in this value.
